This way you can see what their military boost is and where they get additional attack and/or defense bonuses.įorge of Empires Tips has heard from many other Forge Of Empires players that if you “stick to the trees, you can attack harder!”. It is also a good idea, to check the stats of each of your enemies’ troops. As a matter of fact, this is the military boost for the entire army (attacking or defending). This will tell you the military boost this unit has. Meaning he cannot be seen and targeted by any enemy from distanced when he is placed there.Īlso be sure to locate the attack and defense bonuses, shown in green towards the top of the stats window. Our Ranger will receive an additional 7 defense points if we place him in the bushes when he is attacked, and he also gives us an additional 10 defence points if we place him in a forest.Īlso note that this unit “Hides in Forest”. Note that in our example, our Ranger is a “Light Unit” as we can see by looking at his unit type. The great thing is, you can determine the enemies’ unit type by hovering over an enemy troop on the troop bar and looking at the unit type (2nd line from the top) In our example, our fighter is a Ranger who gets an additional 10 attack units when he attacks a Fast Enemy Unit. We will use our own interface as an example.įirstly, take note of the Attack Bonuses section – it can be found about halfway down the image. Now, Let’s cover this stats display in more detail, to help you fully understand what is being shown and how you can use it to your advantage. When you hover, you can see the stats for each fighter, an example is shown below. On the interface, hover your mouse over the Troops Bar which can be found at the bottom of the battle screen – this is the one that displays your troops and your enemies’ troops. When it comes to overcoming your opponent, it is important to fully understand the fighting unit(s) that you are using. Remember, this game is NOT a Sprint race. There is not a lot of space here, but when you raise your military strength, the fps will come and you will progress. Space and military boosts are the most important parameters to focus on in IA. Don't burn resources in aging up too fast. The last thing I recommend is to STAY in IA (or as it's called, CAMP) in IA. With each season, as you add your mil building levels, you'll see you're able to fight to higher attrition levels and this lets you last longer each day to do more battles and get more rewards. It also helps if your guild leaders know how to do alliances and build siege camps to help keep tile attrition down. Also, make sure your guild is fighting GBG in Diamond League to maximize your fp rewards at 10. But your military is key to increasing your fp production in GBG as you get higher boosts. That's with a lot of event buildings over time that give A/D bonuses. I have been camping in IA for several months now and have ATT/Def boosts of 390/410. Put down 3 or 4 ballista barracks and go from there. You get the rest of your troop complement from GE and GBG troop rewards. Then build ballista barracks only for your military as you get stronger, shoot only from the backline and the Ballista will kill opposition before it can reach your backline as you get stronger. Then keep going on raising them some more. Get your 'trinity' to 10 each at a minimum.
